Osiris'
Baked Acorn Squash
This simple recipe comes to us from an immortal who was traveling
around the globe for the bazillionth time. He said he was
a sailor originally from Phoenicia, and we were like hmmmmm.
He told tales no one could of made up, they were of great
maritime adventures on the Erythraean Sea, of Atlantis before
it disappeared in to the mists. Of doors and hallways through
the slipstreams of time. He did give us a simple dish, which
is said to heal and prolong.
Ingredients:
1 acorn squash
1-tablespoon butter
Cinnamon
Sugar
Ginger
Nutmeg
Cut 1 acorn squash in half. Scoop out seeds. Put 1 teaspoon
of butter in the center of each half, then sprinkle with cinnamon
and sugar, ginger, and nutmeg. Place both squash halves in
a pan with 1/4 inch water and bake at 350°F for one hour.
Serves 2.
