Einstein's Gingerbread
This magician,
who transports himself in and out of the house at will, just loves
this gingerbread recipe. He declares that a feline amore from the
Dobu Island in the South pacific bestowed it upon him. It's a love
potion of sorts and has this powerful sharing thing that happens when
served.

all-purpose flour
1 Cup whole-wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
one and one-half teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

one-third cup canola oil
3 large eggs
two-thirds cup molasses
1 Cup unsweetened applesauce
one-half cup buttermilk

2. Combine
flour and next 5 ingredients (through cloves) in a bowl, stirring
well.
3. In
