Roy's Pumpkin
Pie Spiced Nuts
Ingredients:
2
teaspoons ground cinnamon
1-teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground clover
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 egg white
2 12-ounce cans salted mixed nuts
1 cup sugar
Directions:
Stir together the first 4 ingredients, then add the sugar and stir. In a large
bowl, beat the egg white and 1 teaspoon water. Add the salted, mixed
nuts and toss to coat. Sprinkle the sugar spice mix over nuts and toss
to coat. Spread nuts in a single layer on a greased cookie sheet and
bake a 325 for about 20 minutes, then cool slightly and transfer to
waxed paper and break into small chunks. Makes about 8 cups.
