The Lord Admiral of the Douglas Navy’s Blueberry Cookies
The Lord Admiral has a thing for Blueberries, each summer after the Douglas Armada comes into port after the early summer patrol along Lake Michigan ‘s invisible water border that separates and keeps Wisconsin from invading our shores. It’s time for the annual Blueberry Cookie thank you. The Lord Admiral personally cooks up batches and batches of Blueberry Cookies and delivers them to each household in appreciation for the Village of Douglas hosting and being the home base for the fleet. This year he also hand delivered the recipe. Thanks Lord Admiral, we would reside here and keep our western shore safe, Salute You!
